Power plant operators are responsible for the on and off switching and maintenance of electricity generators.
What am I going to do in this occupation?
All the equipment necessary for the generation of electricity are linked to a central control room from where they are controlled. Power plant operators control this complex generation and auxiliary equipment. It is also their responsibility to ensure that the equipment is always in a working condition. The electricity generation processes must be carefully monitored and recorded. Power plant operators work in modern, air-conditioned and soundproofed offices. They work in shifts.

What kind of personality do I need?
Power plant operators must be accurate and observant. They must have a technical aptitude. Their ability to concentrate must be good especially because the work can be of a repetitive nature.
