A blacksmith can find a job in companies that make weapons, locks, tools, war crafts, and army and basically anywhere people do something with metal. To find a job as a blacksmith you need to have a good understanding of metal, how to melt them, sharpen them and what metals you can mix. That is why working knowledge is very important for a black smith. A blacksmith also needs to know a bit of chemistry of metals so that they can use that knowledge to experiment in future. Only a blacksmith can make different kinds of tools and he is the engineer who designs the tools. So once a blacksmith gains working knowledge he can be as creative as he can and create smart tools.
