Tier 4 Registered Sponsors
A tier 4 student visa is a required document for non-UK residents to enter the country and stay for more than six months as a student. Through this document, the visa holder should be able to get an education through recognized schools and universities around the country. This form of visa could be obtained with the help of the school or university since they will act as the sponsor in letting you in the country as a student. In your end, you just have to show that you have the financial capability to support your education and personal needs while in the country. A visa holder could even bring their spouse or partner as long as they can show their financial capability.
School Sponsored Visa
There are two factors that will ensure approval for your tier 4 student visa; the school and student. The financial capability for those who are interested in obtaining tier 4 student visas could be easily obtained in terms of seeking financial aid. On the other hand, getting a school to be your sponsor could be a little bit challenging. The academic requirements might be too much for the student. But this problem only happens when you’re already in the country.
Obtaining tier 4 student visa is not just getting a school in UK to become your sponsor. Your chosen school will also be evaluated before you could obtain a visa. Take note that not any school in UK will give you an approval. There are schools in UK that are not recognized to become a sponsor for a student from outside the country even though they are in operation for a good number of years.
A Rating vs. B Rating
If you find a school recognized by the government that will sponsor you, theres still additional factor you have to consider the schools rating in terms of tier 4 visa classification. There are two classifications of tier 4 schools: the school with a tier 4 A rating and a tier 4 school with B rating. Although you should be able to build to obtain an approval with any of the school, A and B rating of the schools will have significant effect later.
For that reason, you should select a school with an A rating instead of B rating. Luckily, most of the tier 4 schools approved for being sponsors are on an A rating but you still have to be on the look out for B rating schools.
Help through Immigration Agency
Getting approved for a tier 4 visa is relatively easy if you know the required documents or basically where to start in obtaining this form of visa. But more often than not, the documents required not only from the school but also from the government are overwhelming that you can’t easily get them done on time for approval. Worst, you might end up with a B rated school which could jeopardize your future plans especially if you want to stay in UK for a few more years after graduating.
For that reason, it is highly recommended to work with an immigration agency so that they can help you select the right school. Trough their assistance, you can expand your options as to the school you can select. With their help, you can also ensure that the school that will sponsor you will be with a tier 4 A rating.
Difference of an A Rating to a B Rating
As already indicated, it is highly recommended to go with the school with an A rated in tier 4 visa. The reason for this is based on the fact that you should gain a good reputation if you want to stay in UK for a few more years. For example, you want to extend your stay through tier 2 work visa. Although you can find a company that will sponsor you for your work visa, your qualifications especially on your education may not allow you to have a work visa which could provide you an extension up to five years. What you will eventually qualify for is the tier 1 post study visa which will allow you to extend your stay for only up to two years.
